Our VW Cali factory fit means that the van is built as a campervan from the very beginning of it’s journey. We love the railed bench and the flexibility this gives that most conversions don’t have. We also love the interior décor of the California which is light and bright. Couple that with our 5 star service ratings and knowledge of Scotland we will ensure your experience is as good as we can make it.
-

-
The fridge and inside lights run off the leisure battery. To power the inside 3 pin socket and to top up the leisure battery a power cord is provided where Electrical Hook-Up is available. Note we typically recommend that the van is connected to the EHU every 3 or 4 days. The leisure battery will get topped up though whilst driving.
Anything off the main dash powers off the Mains battery so running the Sterio will drain the main battery just as it would in a car.
-

We massively appreciate if you can maintain a clean and tidy interior space on return so that we may accommodate other guests with a vacuum, linen change and van wash.
We do not expect to need to valet the van upon return and if this is required we will charge a professional fee for it.
We recommend also turning up the mirrors when the vehicle is both stationary or in tight road situations.

We will consider overseas travels as we understand that our offering allows a unique way to travel. We love a whole variety of tours that are available. Dufftown and Aberlour are great staging posts. A trip to the grounds and visitor centre of MacAllan is definitely unique however really like the friendly appeal of the smaller distilleries such as the GlenAllachie (one of Sam’s favourites!). On the Western Isles most Isles have a distillery whether that be Gin, Whisky or both.

We recommend packing for days and our preference is to use packing cubes in order to minimise what has to be gotten at any given time.
Space for large suitcases is definitely limited so soft bags that stuff is definitely preferable!
